The How-To 🛠

Step #1 - Choose an app template in Adalo. You will need the ‘Starter pack” plan for $45/ month. This is where you will pick your brand colors, name, and all the other details. In your screen flow, include a ‘form’ page. This is where your generator will be.

(BTW, we have no connections with Adalo. We just LOVE their software.)

Step #2 - Make your content generator. Click on your ‘form’ page and add a text box with a few input buttons. Each button will help users refine their captions. Include things like tone, length, and hashtag options. 

Here’s what mine looks like:

Each button is a ‘data input’ for your ChatGPT prompt. You’ll connect them to ChatGPT in the next step.

Step #3 - Connect to ChatGPT and Stripe. You will need to create a Stripe account to connect to your app’s customer login page. Then you can connect your ChatGPT account and create your prompt. Click HERE for a guide.

You’ll have a different ChatGPT prompt than me because you will have different buttons than I do. Here are a few tips to get started:

• Always start with an action word like ‘write’ or ‘create.’

• Give context. Before creating your prompt, tell ChatGPT what you will use the prompt for. Think about going to the doctor's office - you have to tell them what’s wrong before they can help. 

• Ask ChatGPT to create the prompt. Tell it what you want the prompt to do, then say “Create a ChatGPT prompt that…..”

• Always ask ChatGPT to rewrite your prompt for max clarity.

Step #4 - Find 150 users. There are many ways to do this, but I’ll give you my top 3 for this A.I tool.

1. Send it to us. When you’re done, send us a link to your generator. If we like it, we’ll give you a free shoutout on our Twitter and in the next newsletter edition!

2. Post on TikTok 5x a day. If they’re on social media, they’re automatically a customer. Post TikToks of you using your caption generator. For best results, show them how your captions bring in more likes/ comments/ views/ etc.

3. Run social media ads. Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are great places to run ads. This is the most expensive option, but it will bring a lot of attention to your tool.
